Grain Market Fundamentals and Black Sea Region

Turbulent global economy growth promoted unclear prospects for grain demand resulting in  low prices. Weather could be more and more important factor of the commodity pricing.

Efficient agrarian policy and easier access to financing are key drivers for development of agrarian sector of the Black Sea countries, promoting quick reshaping of crop structure  in favor of higher marginal crops. Large scale farms and small and medium enterprises face new challenges in working out their new market strategy.
